Between 9th-10th of October 2015, Cognitum took part in the 12th OWL: Experiences and Directions Workshop (OWLED) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
The aim of the OWL: Experiences and Directions Workshop (OWLED) is to establish an international forum for the OWL community, where practitioners in industry and academia, tool developers, and others interested in OWL can describe real and potential applications, share experiences and discuss requirements for language extensions/modifications.
During the workshop OWLED 2015, Alessandro Seganti presented two tools that are developed at Cognitum for managing large knowledge bases: Fluent Editor and Ontorion Server. He explained hot to build a collaborative knowledge management system using those two tools. He showed how this kind of system can be used for concurrent modification of knowledge and how managing multiple modification to the same knowledge.
